• TATTOO REMOVAL at Crucial Tattoo Studio!

Crucial Tattoo Studio is a Tattoo Removal Expert

In the United States today, approximately 40 million people have tattoos, and that number is growing. It is estimated that 17% of them would like one or more tattoos removed for a variety of reasons. Some are dissatisfied with a poorly executed tattoo, or a tattoo that has not held up well over many years of time or sun exposure. Others, who loved their tattoo in the past, may feel differently about it now, or maybe just want to make room for a larger, more substantial tattoo project.

Until the introduction of Tatt2Away, laser treatment was the generally accepted method for removal of tattoo ink or pigment, but with it comes possible risks associated with how it breaks up the pigment in the skin, and how the pigment gets disposed of by the body’s lymph nodes and liver. Another problem with this type of removal is that laser light can only treat a limited range of colors effectively, leaving others virtually untouched. In comparison, Tatt2Away involves non-laser tattoo removal that uses the body's own natural healing processes to SAFELY REMOVE the tattoo pigments from the skin without ever releasing them into the body, and Tatt2Away will effectively REMOVE ALL COLORS!

Tatt2Away treatments are designed to remove the pigmented areas of your tattoo in a series of visits, the number depending on the size of the design. For an average size tattoo, you will probably need four visits, but we will evaluate your individual needs during your initial consultation.

Tattoo pigment is inert, and not recognized by your body as a foreign substance. This is the reason it is not rejected by the body, and why it remains as permanent. Tatt2Away uses a proprietary fluid called TEPRSOL to bring the tattoo pigment to the surface in the form of a scab. Once the scab falls off, there is no more pigment in that area, and the underlying skin is clear. TEPRSOL’s active ingredient occurs naturally in the body in carbohydrates and meets the specifications of the US Food Chemicals Codex.

The tattooed areas of the skin are lightly abraded with a hand piece designed specifically for this procedure, though very similar to the machines commonly used to apply the original tattoo. The procedure can be as painful as a typical tattoo application, so if you have a very low pain tolerance you can use a recommended topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort.

A typical treatment session generally lasts between 30-60 minutes in length, during which time small circles are created over the surface of your tattoo. Spaces are purposely left between each circle for better healing results, and will be treated in subsequent sessions. The spacing strategy has proven to help with the over all healing process and minimizes the chance of scarring. Time between treatments is a minimum of 8 weeks, with a 4 week check up in between.

For any tattoo studio to offer Tatt2Away, which has previously only been offered in doctor's offices or medi-spas, the studio must first be approved to do so. Crucial Tattoo Studio underwent an inspection process and in-depth training so that we can offer you a safe, and positive tattoo removal experience.
Our facility is one of a select group of studios in the United States that has been authorized to perform the Tatt2Away treatments, and our staff has been certified in the correct application of the technique, and healing procedures.

    FREQUENT QUESTIONS

How long will it take to remove my tattoo?
Each treatment session lasts 30 minutes to an hour. A minimum 8 week period is necessary between treatments to allow the skin time to heal. For example, a tattoo requiring four treatments will take a minimum of 32 weeks to remove.

How many treatments will I need?
We will give you an indication of how many treatments are required during your free 15 minute consultation. Generally, the average sized tattoo requires between 4-5 treatments. This depends on a variety of factors, including skin type, the age of the tattoo, your age, amount of pigment or ink, the location of the tattoo, and history of other attempts to remove the tattoo.

How is it different than laser?
The Tatt2Away treatment removes all colors (it's color blind) unlike laser. It requires fewer treatments and is less painful than laser treatment. It is also less expensive (due to the reduced number of treatments), and it won't damage your natural skin pigment.

What kind of tattoos can be removed?
All kinds of tattoo can be removed, including whole tattoos, parts of a tattoo, clearing an area for replacement artwork, disguising a previous solid color cover-up, or re-shaping eyebrows or lip color tattoos. Tatt2Away™ REMOVES ALL COLORS. It is effective on most skin types, and is fast, safe, affordable and can be largely pain free.

    How does Tatt2Away work?
Tatt2Away involves a revolutionary new treatment call Trans Epidermal Pigment Release (TEPR). After light abrasion of the skin a safe proprietary fluid is injected into the tattoo pigment. The fluid breaks down the ink or pigment and a scab forms over the treated area. When the scab falls away, the pigment comes with it, leaving clear pink skin to heal.

    Does it hurt?
Most clients have said that it is comparable to getting the original tattoo or less. Some have found it to be annoying, or experience an occasional jab of pain. Generally, the closer to the bone, the more sensitive it will be.

    How much does it cost?
The cost of the treatment will depend on the size of the tattoo. To find out how much it would cost to remove your tattoo, start by filling out our Tatt2Away Request Form below!
