At our clean facility, each treatment session lasts 30 to 60 minutes. A minimum of 8 weeks is required between treatments so the skin may heal. A tattoo requiring 4 treatments needs at least 32 weeks to remove.
During your free 15-minute consultation, we’ll give you an indication of how many treatments are required. Typically, a tattoo that’s of average size needs 4 or 5 treatments. There are other factors that may impact this timeline, including skin type, the age of the tattoo, your age, amount of pigment or ink, the location of the tattoo, and any history of other attempts to remove the tattoo.
The Tatt2Away treatment we use is color blind, unlike laser, because it removes all colors. It also requires fewer treatments, is less painful than laser treatment, and is less expensive (because of the reduced number of treatments). It won't damage your natural skin pigment, either.
We can remove all kinds of tattoos – whole tattoos, parts of tattoos, clearing areas for replacement artwork, disguising a previous solid-color coverup, or re-shaping eyebrows or lip color tattoos. The process we use – Tatt2Away – removes all colors. This process is effective on most skin types. It’s also fast, safe, and affordable. Best of all, it can be largely pain-free.
Tatt2Away is a revolutionary new treatment – Trans Epidermal Pigment Release (TEPR). After performing a light abrasion of the skin, we inject a safe, proprietary fluid into the tattoo pigment. This fluid breaks down the ink or pigment and a scab forms over the treated area. When the scab falls away, the pigment from the tattoo comes with it. What remains is clear, pink skin that needs to heal.
Most of our tattoo removal clients have said that this process feels comparable to getting the original tattoo (or less painful). Others describe it as annoying. They experienced an occasional jab of pain. The closer to the bone the tattoo is, the more sensitive it will be.
The cost of the treatment we charge depends on the tattoo’s size. If we find your tattoo can be removed with this process we’ll set up an in-person appointment with you in our shop.
