A ladybug a carrot and a stitch tattoo on a person's arm

Hello! My Name is Madison

I don't remember any time when art wasn't consistent in my life. I grew up with an entire family of artists, including my twin sister, so art has always been something that felt very natural for me. I was always drawing something!

I started working at Crucial Tattoo Studio in 2018 where I worked towards my goal of tattooing, and began my tattoo career in 2021. I've always dedicated myself to pursuing art professionally so I'm so grateful and honored to do tattoos. I'm constantly pushing to improve and be the best artist I can be.

Growing up on a farm I've always had a fascination with the natural world. I probably know too much about plants/ animals and always get excited about tattooing them. In addition I love fantasy, surrealism, portraits, and pop culture imagery. I always gravitated toward a tattoo when it tells a story and I like to personalize elements so it's more customized to the person wearing the artwork.

About Madison

Madison has had an interest in art going back to her early childhood, with some of her earliest memories including time spent drawing. As she grew older and continued with her art, she studied many different mediums but found herself excelling with her oil paintings, and worked towards showcasing them in local galleries. Madison has found inspiration from many different areas when creating her art, and has received accolades and awards for her realism oil paintings. The possibility of tattooing had crossed her mind in her teens, and once she decided to seriously pursue that option she put her energy in that direction. Her previous years of art studies clearly lend themselves to her ability to create great tattoos, and she showcased those abilities to earn a tattoo apprenticeship under Jonathan Kellogg of Crucial Tattoo Studio.

Madison has been with Crucial Tattoo Studio since 2018, and works as a professional tattooer along with her identical twin sister, Meredith Brewington. Fun fact: They both underwent tattoo apprenticeships at the studio together under Jon Kellogg and did their first tattoos on each other, under careful guidance. Madison showcases a broad range of styles which is evident going through her tattoo portfolio. She is primarily known for her color work with fantasy or nature oriented subject matter. Madison currently enjoys tattoo styles like painterly realism, fantasy, landscapes, new school and neo-traditional.
